ChosenRight ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
ChosenRight stores data locally on your device and in our backend database (Supabase) to enable partner syncing functionality.

This data is stored in Supabase and protected by authentication and row-level security. We only access this data to provide the app’s core functionality and do not sell or share it with third parties.
We use Sign in with Apple for authentication. This service is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We store a user identifier to maintain your app session and associate your data with your account. We do not have access to your Apple ID, email address, or any other information from your Apple account.
We use Supabase as our backend service for authentication and data storage. Supabase is a third-party service provider that processes data on our behalf. We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or other third-party SDKs that collect data.
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchase status is stored locally on your device to enable purchased features.
Partner Data Sharing: When you connect with a partner using an invite code, your shortlist entries and name scores are synced with your partner’s account through our backend. This allows both partners to see names they have in common and view each other’s scores. Only data related to name selections (shortlists and scores) is shared with your connected partner. Your display name, preferences, and other personal information are not shared.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties beyond our service providers that help us run the app (such as Supabase).
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app: Menu → Reset app → Delete Account. This permanently removes your local data and your Supabase records (shortlists, scores, and partner link records) associated with your account.
If deletion fails for any reason, please contact us at the email below and we will assist you.
The "Reset App" option clears local data on this device (preferences, swipes, scores, and shortlists). It does not delete your backend data unless you choose "Delete Account."
Our app is designed for adults (parents/guardians) choosing baby names. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
